Victoria Söntgen

After getting her diploma 2006 at the „Hochschule für Musik

und Darstellende Kunst“ in Frankfurt, Victoria got her first engagements as contemporary dancer and choreographer in the freelance- scene first in Frankfurt as dancer in William Forsythe’s „Human rights“ and after in different parts of Germany.

She got diverse gast-contracts at big theaters like Nationaltheater Mannheim, Theater Erfurt,Fürth, Deutsches Theater Göttingen, Mousonturm Frankfurt, Tanzhaus NRW and more..

She was touring with the spanish Contemporary Company „Cobosmika“ for 2 years in Europe and other 2-3 years with the german HipHop company „Emotion“.

Apart of being a dancers she was also assisting as production assistent already in her apprenticeship for William Forsythe and years later for one of his dancers Ayman Harper.

These experiences gave her the knowlege for her

first own production „tres>passing“ that was very well founded by the state Baden-Württemberg and the city Mannheim .

Her latest engagements were from a big agency in Heidelberg-Baden Württemberg as choreographer for outside performances like at a water fountain with 16 dancers and she was working on a performance at the main train station in in Frankfurt with some students of the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst actors and musicians.

Her actual production „ Denn sie wissen nicht was sie tun“

is still running till June 2016 at Nationaltheater/Schnawwl Mannheim.

Her experiences as teacher for balett and contemporary are very strong as she is teaching since many years in all parts of Germany and in Barcelona/Spain.

Victoria is very interested in combining diferent dance styles- like she was experiencing with the Hip Hop Company „Emotion“

She is very open to work with kids as well as with old people in carehomes, young people at schools and professional dancers.
